11 NOVEMBER.

Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice day. It was decided to have a moment of silence on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to commemorate those who had made the ultimate sacrifice, comrades who had been killed in WWI.

I often wondered how the war could have ended on this day at this time? To my shock and DISMAY, I found out that it was decided months before by its Generals and politicians, of both sides, THAT THE WAR WOULD END ON THIS TIME AND DAY. These SOBs could have ended the war months before, but decided on this date. Thousands more combatants were killed!

Actually it went on in some sectors. Days after 11/11/11 as news and orders were usually sent by a runner on motorcycle, horse or a messenger on foot.

Politicians, preachers and pimps! I haven't much use for, nor do I respect, any of them. The first two have caused all of us much misery, pain and intolerance, as they still do! They start the wars!!! Pimps I respect more than the previous two.

What I started out to write about was this holiday now called Veterans Day. When Congress changed its name after WWII, they took this day of Remembrance away from US VETERANS of World War One. They are all dead now! WWI- the war to end all wars. It hadn't, as a new batch of war making politicians arose.

The most vicious was a psychopath- Adolph Hitler- and the rest, the U.S. created- the S.E. Asian bunch. Now it's the S.W. Asian religious fanatics.Anyhoo, I'm getting off my path again. What I started to say is I haven't much use for this Rah Rah Bullshit that I now hear. I wonder how these “Drum Beaters” can now claim what they do about Vietnam- blaming the Left, the Media, and politicians for the reason we left! We left because the citizens of this country could see no reason for us to stay. It's as simple as that, and that's what will and is going to happen again in the Middle East. There is no reason for us to stay there, killing and dying for nothing. The US talk's shit!Freedom and Democracy.

I am a Vietnam Combat Veteran and have the right and I am willing to express my words, as you, and the people who are now called “occupiers” we were told we were fighting for these Liberties!! If we believe in what we say...it's called freedom!!! Let them choose, it's their country. Remember those Veterans who died for your freedom!...
